Today, February 28th, I saw my first cherry blossoms. It was a wonderful surprise as I had my head down, tucked into my rain coat, as I walked to work and just happened to look up right in front of St. Paul's Hospital. That's one of the reasons I love walking to work...you get to see so much more than when you are on a bus. I can stand on the bridge and watch the eagles and look for harbour seals or stop and smell the flowers along the way.

I'm going to take advantage of the Vancouver Cherry Blossom website so I can track their bloom. So far, nothing to report in Kits.
